Jose Maria Buades

 

José María Buades Asensi is a Senior Technical Architect at Varo Consulting, bringing over 20 years of experience in construction management, project delivery, and technical coordination across the retail, commercial, and residential sectors. At Varo, he leads the planning and execution of complex fit-out and refurbishment projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance from concept to completion.

 

José María has extensive experience managing nationwide rollouts and flagship projects for leading international brands, including McDonald’s, Lidl, Vodafone, Amazon, KFC, and Sanitas, among others. His role encompasses every stage of project delivery — from technical assessment, budgeting, and procurement through to site supervision and handover — always maintaining a focus on efficiency, precision, and client satisfaction.

 

Known for his proactive leadership and deep technical expertise, José María excels at coordinating multidisciplinary teams and translating design intent into buildable, cost-effective solutions. His strong command of BIM methodologies and advanced knowledge of software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Presto, and Arquímedes allow him to optimise workflows and enhance project integration.

 

A graduate in Technical Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, he also holds a Master’s in Parametric Modelling (Revit) and qualifications as a Building Inspector and Judicial Expert.
